Paris Climate Talks COPout 21

During the first week of negotiations in Paris, Norway, the UK and the EU have been key players in working to remove anything regarding the rights of Indigenous Peoples from the Paris Accord. Western players are also working hard to remove any references to ‘human rights’. Excluding the language of ‘Indigenous Peoples’ rights’ and ‘human rights’ means that no government or corporation can be held legally accountable for their genocidal and extractive practices. In the world built by the White Man, words are power.

We don’t want no market-based technological solutions. Article 2.2 must stay.
