Immigration Bill resistance

TOMORROW we’ll be joining All African Women’s Group and Black Women’s Rape Action Project inside the House of Commons to protest the draconian Immigration Bill. The bill will have its third reading before going before the House of Lords and we must stop it!

The 2015 Immigration Bill poses even more threats to the rights and livelihoods of migrants, especially those who are women and people of colour. In particular, the bill will deport people prior to appeal returning them to situations from which they are seeking safety. It will also turn landlords and employers – ordinary citizens – into agents of law enforcement, limiting access to housing and employment, causing even more detriment to communities.

It is up to all of us to prevent this racist, exploitative bill from being passed.

Join us as we fight with All African Women’s Group and Black Women’s Rape Action Project to lobby MPs and protest in opposition to this bill.
